Four Consecutive Brown Elizabethan Canadian Cents 1964-1967 G+

Description

This small group of four consecutive brown Elizabethan Canadian Cents 1964-1967 does include the Bicentennial cent coin and they average a  G+ grade. These coins were all found in either USA  cent bankrolls or in unsearched US wheat cent bags and are circulated coins. I have always wondered how the design of both the Canadian small cent and the USA penny ended up so close together in size, design, and content. I assume there is probably a historic story buried in those similarities. I will have to research that one day. I had never given it a thought until today, and now I know my curiosity is going to get the better of me until I actually sit down and do the research. It might end up as a good blog story.
