Assorted Canadian circulated cents 1945-1996 include five brown XF+ coins and one red AU coin. These various coins were found, over time, rolled, in various USA cent rolls or in unsearched wheat cent bags of US cents. None of these coins are in consecutive order, but I would think they could be used to upgrade specific dates, fill in missing dates, or as examples that include the profile of two different British Monarchs.
I wonder if Canada will briefly reinstate the single cent so they could mint some coins with the profile of King Charles on them. If they did, I would speculate it would be aimed toward the serious collector and probably not at general business circulation. I’m just wondering out loud I guess. But it is food for thought!
