  This chess set is named after the mythical deity Zaria, the Goddess of Beauty – and if she played chess, these wooden chess pieces are the ones she’d use! Each unique and handsomely designed chess piece is made of Hornbeam or Sycamore, both woods from the forests of Europe. Hornbeam (sometimes known as Ironwood) is mostly white and used for intricate and decorative carvings. Sycamore offers a dark brown, smooth textured wood, perfect for the dark pieces. The wood then meets the craftsmanship of our master artisans, resulting in the finest moderately priced chess set available in the marketplace today.

  The King is a serious 3.35″ inches tall on a chess board measuring 16.5″ x 16.5″ and fit for display at home or in the office.
